Over the last 30 years, Birger Steen has served in executive and non-executive leadership roles in the technology sector, including as CEO of Freyr Battery (2023-2024), Thematic Partner at Summa Equity AB (2019-2023), CEO of Parallels, Inc. (2010-2016), Vice President at Microsoft Corp. (2002-2010), CEO of Scandinavia Online AB (2000-2002),  VP at Schibsted ASA (1997-2000), and consultant at McKinsey & Company (1993-1997). He holds an MSc from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, an MBA from INSEAD, and is a graduate of the Defense School of Intelligence in Oslo. Birger has also held non-exec positions at Pagero AB (chair), Nordea Bank Abp (chair of operations committee), Schibsted ASA, Cognite AS, and PragmatIC Semiconductor Ltd.

Yngvar er DNBs og hele Norges første forbukerteknolog. I tillegg er han divisjonsdirektør for DNB NewTechLab som er ansvarlig for utforsking av nye teknologier i Norges største og eldste bank, gjennom sine kontorer i Bjørvika, San Francisco og Palo Alto.

Ingvild Myhre er utdannet sivilingeniør fra NTNU i Trondheim. Hun har erfaring fra ledende stillinger innen privat og offentlig sektor, bla som adm.dir  i Alcatel Telecom N, Telenor Mobil og Network Norway. Hun har også mer enn 20 års erfaring fra styrearbeid innen privat og offentlig sektor, store og små virksomheter, nasjonale og internasjonale. Noen eksempler er: Norsk Hydro, Statkraft, Norges Forskninsråd, UiB, NTNU, UiT, Forsvarets Forskningsinstitutt, Folketrygdefondet, Sparebank1 N-N, Norlandia og Simula RL.

Elisabet begynte i Patentstyret i 2020 og har 25 års bred ledererfaring som topp- og mellomleder fra større virksomheter og som entreprenør. Hun har over 20 års erfaring innen merkevarebygging, kjededrift, forretningsutvikling og risikostyring fra næringslivet, blant annet i DNV, Norgesgruppen og Ica Norge. Hun har sittet i flere styrer og de siste 3 årene før hun begynte i Patentstyret jobbet hun med startup-miljøet i Norge som daglig leder i en teknologibedrift.  Elisabet brenner for innovasjon og næringsutvikling, og er en erfaren foredragsholder og moderator på konferanser her til lands.

Truls Berg er en norsk seriegründer, tidligere konsernsjef og forfatter, med mer enn 30 års erfaring fra IT-bransjen. Han innehar en rekke styreverv, er en hyppig brukt foredragsholder og er fast kronikør i både Computerworld og Innomag. Han er leder av Open Innovation Lab of Norway og leder også Standard Norges komite for Innovasjonsledelse. Han er dessuten styreleder i Nasjonalt Innovasjonsråd. I 2024 ble han også kåret til «Topp 10 av verdens ledende tankeledere innen åpen innovasjon» (Thinkers360).

I 2024 ble Truls valgt ut som en av de 10 viktigste personene i verden for åpen innovasjon av Thinkers360 (Global Thought Leaders in Open Innovation). Han er også styremedlem i Global Council for Innovative Organizations.

Trond Atle Smedsrud joined Aker BioMarine in 2015. He is responsible for exploring, securing, and growing corporate investments. Smedsrud has also served as head of Aker BioMarine’s Marketing and Innovation department. Previously, he held senior positions at Coca-Cola and PwC. He has a master’s degree from BI Norwegian Business School. From 2024, with the new organizational structure, Smedsrud is CEO for the Emerging Businesses-segment.

Ariane Spandow is chair and part owner of Spabogruppen, a Norwegian family-owned company. She has been the driving force for Corporate Social Value in more than a decade and was responsible for the implementation of the Triple Bottom Line-strategy in Spabogruppen. Ariane has an entrepreneurial, open-minded spirit. Her driving force is to change the way we measure successful business, by showcasing that sound, good business should not only be measured through profits, but also through societal change.  Ariane has an operational role in Amesto Aces, founded to help unemployed young adults back to work. She believes that the big challenges in our society need to be solved through cooperation between the public and private sector. 

Matts Johansen has been CEO of Aker BioMarine since 2015. He first joined the company in 2009 as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his career in Aker BioMarine, Johansen served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Telefónica O2. He studied at Oslo University College and completed executive education at Columbia University

Arild Spandow is the founder and CEO of Amesto Group. He is part owner of Spabogruppen, a Norwegian family-owned company. Arild is an experienced leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, who is always looking for opportunities. He is passionate about exponential technology and value-based leadership. Arild is born in Norway, but has a global mind set. He is an experienced board member and the driving force of Amesto’s intrapreneur program, which has given birth to several new businesses under the Amesto umbrella. Arild is also highly invested in Amesto-related startups, most recently ConnectMyApps, Fortytwo, the FinTech bank Aprila Bank and the HR-solution Meet Dottie.

Dr. Tor Wallin Andreassen is a Professor of Innovation at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where he has held various academic leadership roles. He has established two national research centers in service innovation (CSI) and digital innovations for sustainable growth (DIG). Dr. Andreassen is an International Fellow at prestigious institutions like Cornell and Cambridge and a member of the editorial review boards of five leading academic journals. His research has been published extensively, and he has authored ten books. He has received numerous awards, including the MSI/H. Paul Root Award, and has been a Visiting Professor at prominent universities like Stanford and Vanderbilt.

Iain Bitran is the Executive Director of ISPIM and has overseen the Society’s growth since 2003. As a business graduate with more than 25 years of experience, Iain has worked with a variety of enterprises and cultures worldwide. Iain is an expert in enterprise modelling and has developed decision-support tools for the management community. He has worked on many projects for national and regional development agencies and for the European Commission and United Nations. Iain is a regular speaker at conferences around the world and has edited and published numerous journal issues and articles in the field of innovation management.
